Our team was successful at the 2011-12 Quiz held last November and as a result the Society feels bound to offer to hold the Quiz in the coming season.
So, we've fixed the date as THURSDAY 18 OCTOBER 2012, venue Amesham Community Centre. Time and which hall we'll be in are yet to be decided.
As there'll be an Amersham team organising the event we'll need volunteers to help (the Committee has already formed a sub-committee to mastermind the organisation) both before and on the day. We also need to make sure we enter a team and are looking for half-a-dozen volunteers to be in it.
Offers of help, both in running the event and being a team member should be directed at the Secretary, either by phone - 01494 726418, at a meeting or by a message on this site's guestbook.
